Asera pairs a plain square seat with four tapered legs that splay outward. A footrest ring ties the legs together, locking the frame while giving the feet somewhere to rest. At a counter you sit at for a long time, that is the detail that matters.
All four edges of the seat are sanded round, with no sharp line left at the corners. On a backless stool this profile carries most of the comfort, because it keeps pressure off the back of the thigh.
The photographs show both versions of the model: the unfinished natural solid frame, and the walnut stained frame with a padded, fabric upholstered seat. Stain tone and upholstery fabric are chosen together when you order.
Materials and fabric
Solid beech frame and legs with a solid square seat. In the upholstered version the seat is padded with high density foam and covered in upholstery fabric.
Care
Wipe wooden surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Treat stains on fabric promptly and locally with a lightly dampened cloth. Keep the wood out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators, and check the joint screws once a year.
