Why Koçak Sandalye?
We run the whole of production in our own workshop. Because we see every stage in between, we take direct responsibility for the result.
Solid Wood
Frames are built from solid wood; we use no veneer and no particle board. The finish changes the colour and the grain, but the material underneath is the same in every model.
Handwork
Most of the sanding, assembly and finishing ends in a master's hands. Machines step in only where they make that work easier; the chair is still finished by hand.
Made to Order
The bench starts once you have chosen. The model, the upholstery fabric, the colour and the tone of the finish are your decision; the same model can look entirely different in two orders.
Checked Before Dispatch
Every chair is looked over one by one before packing. Joints, the evenness of the surface and the tension of the upholstery are each checked separately.
About Us
Every chair is made one at a time in our workshop
In our workshop in Siteler, Ankara, we build chairs and stools from solid wood. Every model is made to order, in the fabric and stain tone you choose.
The frame is cut, sanded, assembled and finished in the workshop, and most of those steps are done by hand. There is no production line: each chair is finished in its own turn and checked over before it is shipped.

From Our Workshop
The Production Process
A chair passes through six stages, from selecting the wood to packing it. Every stage runs under one roof, in the hands of our own craftsmen.

Wood selection and measuring
Solid wood suited to the model is chosen and the parts are measured out.

Cutting and part preparation
The measured wood is cut and the frame parts are prepared one by one.

Sanding and assembly
The parts are sanded and joined to form the main body of the product.

Surface check and finish
Surfaces are inspected and the chosen colour and finish are applied.

Upholstery
The chosen fabric is applied. If you prefer, we use your own fabric.

Final check and dispatch
Joints, surface evenness and balance are checked, then the product is prepared for dispatch.

Why are there no prices on the site?
Every product is made to order. The model, the finish, the upholstery fabric and the quantity all affect the price directly, so publishing a single list price would be misleading. Send us the model name and we will prepare a quote based on your choices.
Are the products solid wood?
We use solid wood in the product frames. We preserve the natural grain of the wood and apply surface treatments suited to the model and the look you want.
Do you ship outside Ankara?
Production takes place in our workshop in Siteler, Ankara. After approval each chair is inspected individually and dispatched to the address you give us. Shipping details are shared together with the quote.
How do I request a quote?
We work in three steps. First we settle on the model, the wood finish and the upholstery fabric together. Then we calculate the price and delivery date for your quantity and choices and send them to you. Production starts only after your approval; nothing is made before that.
Do you take bulk and project orders?
Yes. We produce in volume for cafes, restaurants, hotels and similar projects. Because the workable quantity changes with the model and the request, we do not publish a fixed minimum: tell us what you need and we will confirm it for you. Sharing the requirement early helps us settle on the right model and finish faster.
