Lenor Bolster Chair

The Lenor back is nothing more than a cylindrical bolster set horizontally between two uprights. Falling at the waist, that single point supports the body exactly where support is needed; the rest of the back is deliberately left open.

The uprights continue past the seat down to the floor and take over as the rear leg. With the two turned tapered legs at the front, the chair stands not on four points but on two legs and a blade. In profile, that asymmetry is the model's signature.

It suits a dining table, a console and an entrance hall. The photographs show the unfinished natural frame alongside the walnut stained version, with the bolster and seat upholstered in dusty rose fabric.
