Eveloria's back frame is shield shaped, with woven cane stretched into a rebate cut along its inner edge. A crown carved with a leaf motif sits at the top, while the rest of the frame is plainly moulded.
The cane gives back the lightness a classic back loses when it is closed with fabric: the back breathes, and light passes through it from behind. If it wears, only the panel is replaced.
The front legs are in the curved Louis form, and the front edge of the seat frame is moulded along its whole length. The photographs show the bare frame alongside the walnut stained version with a grey blue fabric upholstered seat.
Materials and fabric
Solid beech frame with a shield shaped back frame and a natural woven cane panel stretched into it, a hand carved leaf motif crown and curved Louis front legs. In the upholstered version the seat is padded and covered in upholstery fabric.
Care
Wipe the wood with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Clean the cane back with a dry brush or a vacuum brush on low power, and never wet it. Treat stains on the fabric seat promptly and locally with a lightly dampened cloth.
