Nivara's back begins behind you, wraps forward on both sides and ends at arm height. That wrapping form, uncommon on bar chairs, supports the body from the sides as well when you sit high.
The legs splay downward into a wide footprint that resists tipping, and footrests tie them on all four sides. The seat frame is prepared for upholstery, though a solid wood seat can be made on request.
It is sized for kitchen islands and bar counters. The photographs show the unfinished natural frame alongside the walnut stained version with the back panel and seat upholstered in green fabric.
Materials and fabric
Solid beech frame with a bent wrapping backrest and footrests on all four sides. In the upholstered version the back panel and seat are padded and covered in upholstery fabric.
Care
Wipe wooden surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Treat stains on fabric promptly and locally with a lightly dampened cloth. Keep the wood out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators, and check the joint screws once a year.
