The Sera back is woven cane stretched inside a rectangular frame with softened corners. There is no ornament; the model takes its character from the texture of the cane and the slim profile of the frame.
The seat is cut from solid timber with a shallow dish, and the legs are square in section and tapered. Side stretchers lock the frame in daily use. Its plain build lets it stand with both classic and modern tables.
The photographs show the unfinished natural frame alongside the walnut stained version with a light blue fabric upholstered seat. The cane back keeps its natural colour in both.
Materials and fabric
Solid beech frame with a rectangular framed natural woven cane back panel and a solid seat. In the upholstered version the seat is padded and covered in upholstery fabric.
Care
Wipe the wood with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Clean the cane back with a dry brush or a vacuum brush on low power, and never wet it. Treat stains on the fabric seat promptly and locally with a lightly dampened cloth.
